Long time

WOW.. it has been a long time since I remembered about this blog! So I'll catch you up on my life.

Kierstyn who was 7 when I started this blog is now going to be 9 very shortly. Where has the time gone?! My grandbabies that I was waiting on have arrived and almost 1 year old. Kyler (brother of Kierstyn) will be 1 in October. Ky is, also, called Monkey and he's recently started walking. Brayden was born on 12-8. He's my little redhead bundle of joy. He's currently getting into everything. Jayden was born on 12-15. He's a happy smiley baby. Then we have a new baby due to arrive on 4-1-2011. Why didn't anyone tell me that grandkids were better than kids? I could've had them first!

I've been stitching as much as I can but I don't stitch very fast. Therefore, not alot gets done and I hardly ever 'finish' anything. I plan on starting to finish some Halloween and Christmas pieces.

First post.

Some folks may wonder why my blog is called 'Sooty' stitcher. It really isn't about getting my cross stitching all dirty. You see, my other passion besides stitching is my cocker spaniel, Soot. Not only is he my loving companion but hopefully, he will be able to gain the title of 'champion' when he matures. If he doesn't.. well.. he's the greatest lap dog in the world. :)
